Kellen Curry Biography:-
Kellen Curry, a Republican, has declared his candidacy for the US House to represent New York’s 3rd Congressional District. This announcement comes soon after embattled Rep. George Santos announced his run for reelection. Curry is an MBA candidate and an Afghanistan war veteran, who spent eight years in the US Air Force as a weapon systems procurement officer. He is committed to honest leadership and effective representation, which he believes are critical to restoring public trust in government. Curry believes that his campaign will give the people of the district an opportunity to choose a different direction.
Crime and security are some of the issues that are essential to Curry’s campaign. He is focused on fixing the concerns about crime and getting back to a place where police and community relations are positive. He is committed to doing that work as he believes that is the first step towards job creation and growing the economy. National security is also a priority for Curry, particularly with respect to Russia and China.
Curry attended the US Air Force Academy where he majored in Pre-Law and was named the 2012 Air Force District of Washington Outstanding Contingency Contracting Officer Award. He also holds an MBA with a focus on international business. Curry has recently worked in the cybersecurity sector in San Antonio, TX, where he led a $200M acquisition portfolio delivering encryption and cybersecurity capabilities to over 3 million Department of Defense personnel.
Curry is an Oklahoma 5A state champion in the 110- and 300-meter hurdles. He has been an active member of the Air Force track and field team, winning several awards during his time. Kellen hopes to become a JAG officer in the future.
