Fate/Grand Order - Altria Pendragon - 1/7
thanks everyone i got the url and video tags working and edited the thing so it works now. but to sum up the 2 biggests things: apply heat, and "widen" the cape on the way down. if that's not clear, the motion is like opening a book. the cape might be too narrow to fit "around" the shoulders, so you're just widening it so it stops getting stuck on the way down.honestly applying heat is probably the biggest thing. it makes it waaaay easier and with less strength applied
Hello, thank you very much for sharing the video showing how to put Saber's cape. It was really helpful, in fact i could not have done it without your help!
My Saber doesn't fit the base completely and i can't push it in any further so the metal rods are partially visible under her feet.
The cape did not even reach the place where the metal rod is ( it seems the cape was too short in the back so i had to apply heat there too to change the shape so it could allign with the metal rod.)
The assembly was very stressful for me not only because i had to use the hair dryer a lot, but also i noticed that the paint used is of cheap quality unfortunately: the white part of the cape can be very easily scratched, just by touching it with the metal rod, without applying force or friction, it leaves a grey mark :( Also, some paint on the back part of the ribbon of her head came off when i was trying to put her head back in the body (it touches the hood of the cape) so then i had to place a piece of plastic between the ribbon and the hood to avoid more damage as i was finishing to insert the head. The ribbon lies over the hood so it is not visible, but this was disappointing.
I imagine this figure will have a lot of paint transfer in the future because the cape is very tight around her shoulders and beneath the ribbon.
Nevertheless the figure is stunning and it is one of my favourite Sabers now.
